Chelsea have signed Brazilian forward Joao Pedro from Brighton in a £60 million deal, adding another big name to their squad rebuild. The 23-year-old penned an eight-year contract and has joined the Blues in the U.S. for the Club World Cup, where he’s set to debut against Palmeiras.
Pedro, who netted 30 goals in 70 games for Brighton and has been capped by Brazil three times, becomes Chelsea’s fourth signing from Brighton, following Caicedo, Cucurella, and Sanchez.
